Is ritalin water soluble?

According to Mallinckrodt Baker's MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), yes, this drug is freely soluble when in its pure state. Now with the addition of excipients the rate of dissolution may change (more than likely would become somewhat slower) and there may be a little bit of precipitate left over (the ppt would be those excipients which were not water soluble).
