How to get an ex girlfriend back...?

I sent my girlfriend some roses over a month ago at work and she texted me and seemed happy , she said she needed time to think and didn't have an answer right now, i sent her some sunflowers recently to her work for mothers day and a card w/ stationary which didn't do the trick, she was gracious but that's it...seems she's done a 180 degree turn. I know she's seeing other people but she had told me she didn't want to get emotionally involved with ANYONE. We had been seeing each other for 3 years and our problems amounted to alot of the typical issues between couples highlighted in Mars and Venus on a Date. My strategy was to send a little casual note occasionaly BUT I'm wondering if it would appear needy or condescending to include some excerpts from this book which really explain the reasons behind alot of the issues we had togeather.....
